Rename Documents

You can rename documents in the vault if the vault administrator gives users permission on the VaultAdmin Vault Settings tab. References are maintained within the vault.

You should remove all local copies of documents before renaming copies in the vault. If a document is renamed in the vault and a client checks it in again with the old name, the document then appears in the vault with two different names and references to the old name are broken.
