Run the Vault

Before you use SolidWorks Workgroup PDM, the vault must be running.

The vault runs automatically as a service on Windows XP® Professional and Windows Server 2003® operating systems.

SolidWorks Explorer tip Run the Vault  If the vault does not run after a new installation, try the following:

  • Start the server that contains the vault manually.

  • Restart the computer.

  • Re-install the vault.
